The OptiBreak app

OptiBreak is designed with privacy at its core. Your break schedules, statistics, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

We collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. This includes events such as break completions, feature usage, and app sessions. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any information that could identify you personally. You can opt out of analytics in the app's preferences.

Subscriptions and payments

OptiBreak Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store (managed via RevenueCat) or Paddle (merchant of record for direct purchases). We do not receive or store your payment information. App Store subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under their own privacy policy. RevenueCat processes subscription status only — no personal data is shared. Direct purchase billing, tax, and refunds are handled by Paddle under their privacy policy.

This website

This website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, referral sources, and device type. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. The following data is stored:

  • Cookie consent preference and analytics cookies (stored in your browser)

Data retention

No personal data is retained from the OptiBreak app as none is collected.

How to delete your data

All OptiBreak data — including break schedules, statistics, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. To delete it, simply uninstall the app. You can also manually remove data from ~/Library/Application Support/OptiBreak/. No personal data is stored on our servers.
