Who we are

OptiBreak is developed and operated by STRKK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13503997). Registered office: 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NE. STRKK LTD is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration number ZC279052.

The OptiBreak app

OptiBreak keeps scheduling and break enforcement on your device. When you create an account, your schedule, break history, statistics, preferences, and registered devices are stored securely so they can stay consistent across your computers.

You control your personal history and can export or delete it. Team administrators receive only organisation-level aggregates above our privacy threshold; they cannot view named break history, mood or personal insights. Optional product analytics can be turned off in the app's settings.

Subscriptions and payments

OptiBreak Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store (with subscription status managed through RevenueCat) or Stripe Managed Payments for direct purchases. We store subscription and entitlement status but do not receive or store complete card details. Billing, tax, refunds, and payment information are handled by the applicable payment provider.

This website

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it (pages viewed, how you found us, device type). Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. You don't need to give us your name or email to browse this website. If you create an OptiBreak account, we collect your email address, your name if you give it, and the account data described above. The following data is stored:

• Website usage data via Google Analytics (pages viewed, how you found us, device type), only if you accept analytics cookies
• Cookie consent preference and analytics cookies (stored in your browser)

This website uses cookies for Google Analytics (to understand site usage) and to store your cookie consent preference. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept cookies. You can reject analytics cookies via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

The account dashboard provides self-service export and deletion controls. Privacy requests can also be sent to our contact address.

Data retention

Account and personal break data is retained while your account is active. Deletion has a seven-day recovery window, after which personal product data is removed. Minimum invoice and tax records may be retained where required by law.

How to delete your data

Use Privacy & data in your account to export your information or schedule account deletion. You have seven days to cancel deletion before personal product data is removed. Local application data can also be removed from each registered device. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

Third-party services

• Apple App Store : payment processing and app distribution
• RevenueCat : subscription status management for App Store purchases
• Stripe Managed Payments : direct-purchase checkout, payment processing, tax, billing, and refunds
• Google Analytics : website usage analytics (pages viewed, how you found us, device type), only with your consent
• Firebase Analytics : app usage analytics linked to a random ID for your install, not your name or email (feature usage, break events, session data). You can turn this off in the app's settings.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) : crash reports from the macOS app, linked to a random ID for your install, not your name or email. It follows the analytics setting in the app, so turning analytics off turns it off too.
• Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare : hosting for your account and this website
• Resend : sending account and sign-in emails
• Error monitoring (Sentry, EU region) : crash and error reports from our apps, website and servers, with personal details stripped out

We use your account data to provide the service you signed up for (to perform our contract with you), website analytics only with your consent, and billing records to meet legal duties. Some of these providers are based in the United States; where data leaves the UK it is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

Children's privacy

OptiBreak can be used by schools and students, including children under 13. If a child is under 13, a parent or carer must give consent before the child uses an OptiBreak account, either directly or through the child's school acting with their permission. A parent or carer can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's data. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without that consent, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
